Benefits of Meditation
Meditation is simple and inexpensive, and it doesn't require any special equipment.
Meditation enables us to cultivate a special experience of lasting inner peace that causes harmony and happiness, and it creates a feeling of deep well-being. Meditation is generally an inwardly oriented, personal practice that you can do by yourself.
It is said when the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and the mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. Meditation can help you experience this inner calm and relax your body and mind.
If stress has you anxious, tense and worried, consider trying meditation. Spending even a few minutes in meditation can restore your calm and inner peace. Anyone can practice meditation. It is simple and inexpensive, and it doesn't require any special equipment. You can practice meditation wherever you are out for a walk, waiting for an appointment or even in the middle of a difficult business meeting.
Meditation also might be useful if you have a medical condition, especially one that may be worsened by stress. Meditation can reduce stress and help us relax, but it can also give us a lot more.
Angie Kane is teaching meditation at the Veronica Yoga Studio every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Classes are open to people of all levels of experience. They cost $12, and people can join at any time.

Veronica- I thought you meant "meditation". Did you mean "medication"? The benefits of "medication"? What time do you medicate on Thursdays?
