Yes, photo's taken, will share later as they are flying by our window by the dozens, yes like fourRead Moreo r more dozens at a time. Are they migrating? I have been here over 23 years and never seen so many. Just love it! Maybe they are celebrating the whales going by? Toni Berget

These might be the same guys that we spotted this past winter at the Pismo cliffs. I'm guessingRead Morethat there were close to 1000 in groups of 20-50 every couple of minutes. A sight that I will never forget especially after growing up at the So Cal coast where nobody I knew had ever even seen a brown pelican.

I don't know what I am wrong about. I know now they don't pick up dead animals, focus is on living Read Moreones, which is completely understandable. So my previous "assumptions" are now clear. I don't need to go back and forth with you about this. I was clearly looking for a way to have this sea lion that was washing in and out for a few days picked up. We have plenty of kids and dogs running around on a daily basis and was hoping to get this sea lion away from them and thought WLC was best equipped to do so.

Wrong about assuming I am with the Wildlife center just because I responded to your post in theRead Morefi rst place and suggested what to do. Don't be so defensive if you are going to post something and expect comments.

Maybe all that are interested should check out the Cal Wildlife Center's open house this weekend.Read MoreGr eat for the kids and adults too. Come see what these Doctors and volunteers can accomplish when they have a common goal.....and no, I also have no affiliation with the group. Wildlife rescue isn't an option in most states and i appreciate the fact that we have someone to turn to be it caring for a rescued 'pinky' or a heafty sea lion.
