Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. Announces the Second Year of Its Initiative to Support Student Entrepreneurship Programs and Business Plan Competitions

Dun & Bradstreet Credibility announces the second year of its Entrepreneurial Growth Initiative, sponsoring business plan competitions at universities and colleges across the nation.

MALIBU, CA -- In its ongoing effort to stimulate small business growth and support student entrepreneurship, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp., the industry leader in helping businesses build and manage their business credit and credibility, announces the second year of its Entrepreneurial Growth Initiative, a program that sponsors business plan competitions at universities and colleges across the nation.

The Entrepreneurial Growth Initiative is designed to help emerging student enterprises understand early on the importance of establishing and building their business credit and credibility in order to improve their chances of securing loans, lines of credit, and other methods of financing for their growth.

The initiative sponsors business plan competitions including awards to top placing teams in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The awards include a donation of Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp.’s extensive suite of products that enable businesses to build and manage their business credit and online credibility. To promote additional entrepreneurial efforts from the larger university community, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. donates discounted products and services to students, staff and alumni at participating schools.                                                                               

The company is sponsoring business plan competitions at the following schools:  Brown University, Cal Tech, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, MIT, NYU, Pepperdine, Rice, Stanford, Tufts University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, University of Chicago, USC, Wake Forest, and Washington State.
