Algae Blooms

Whomever is telling the people in the Colony that the algae blooms in the Malibu Lagoon are caused by Tapia summer discharges is disingenous at best. I took photos at the Serra Retreat bridge yesterday.  The area is bone dry in both directions. So, the water would have to travel undergroud for 7 miles + and then resurface at the same nutrient richness to cause the algea blooms. We wonder if these are the same officials who told the public that the Colony was the cause for the lagoon choking to death in the first place? They blamed the Colony septics currently leaking. Then they blame Tapia summer discharge. Then they say algea is good, no its bad.... Make up your mind and STOP passing the buck. You can't have it both ways. And clean up the mess you made.
