The Farrah Fawcett Foundation (FFF) honored the 5th year passing of actress and cancer research advocate Farrah Fawcett with a small reception of friends, family and FFF supporters at the Foundation’s Beverly Hills offices on June 25. FFF President Alana Stewart and Foundation staff welcomed guests and discussed the Foundation’s partnership with Stand Up 2 Cancer and the translational research team established to help find a cure for HPV related cancers. The mission of the FFF is to provide funding for cutting edge cancer research, to support prevention and awareness, and to help those struggling with cancer. Farrah Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. She established the Foundation before her death in 2009. For information, visit www.thefarrahfawcettfoundation.org.
