Fiesta Malibu is a special event this year, celebrating children and the community which supports them.  This year’s event will have something for everyone!

Kids of all ages will have something exciting – from the younger ones, who will enjoy a range of activities from field games, booths, giant inflatables, face painting and snacks.

To the older ones in middle school & high school, who will love a great new troika of Laser Tag, Fly Trap & an amazing Video Game Truck.  The Gladiator Joust, back by popular demand, in addition to Laser Tag will allow kids of all ages, as well as adults, to challenge each other in competitive contests!

There will be live entertainment this year, with an impressive line-up soon to be announced.  You might even spot a few VIP’s - several are rumoured to be making appearances.  And of course there’s the always popular Silent Auction, this year bigger and more appealing than ever!

Another first will be the newly formed Juan Cabrillo Alumni Club, which is having its first and very special gathering at the event.  For more information about the Alumni program, visit Facebook.com at:  https://m.facebook.com/JuanCabrilloElementaryMalibu

The “Taste of Fiesta©”, a mostly organic culinary feast, will offer home-made style Italian cuisine by Mangia™, Fiesta Malibu© Mexican fare, not to mention tantalizing delicacies offered by Malibu’s most exciting new and outstanding community member, Vintage Grocers™, who is also the Fiesta Malibu prime sponsor this year!

And some of Malibu’s finest Vineyards will be there, sharing everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask about the latest harvest and their best offerings.

There’s even snack & coffee bars for quick pick me ups.  Parents can keep their smaller children occupied in the “Kids Zone” or lounge in the picnic area.  Fiesta Malibu blankets will also be on sale.

Some of the other vendors, sponsors & exhibiting organizations include:

•  AMPS (Advocates for Malibu Public Schools)

•  Vintage Grocers

•  The Malibu Chamber of Commerce

•  Malibu Urgent Care

•  MG (Morgan Gold)

•  Malibu Unites

•  Rotary Club of Malibu

•  SMMEF (The Santa Monica – Malibu Education Foundation)

•  The Malibu Boys & Girls Club

•  The City of Malibu

•  The Juan Cabrillo PTA… and many more.

Fiesta Malibu is hosted and organized by the Juan Cabrillo Elementary PTA which is a non-profit 501c(3).  Being a public school, Juan Cabrillo was affected by state budget cuts which threatens the loss of both programs & teachers.  Luckily, the PTA is able to direct support funds through programs like Fiesta which helps maintain well-rounded education programs for the students..  Fiesta Malibu relies heavily on the generous support of residents, local Malibu retailers, businesses and venues as well as the support of the students’ families.
