A statement of clarification in response to a question from a Malibu voter who called to voice confusion about candidate endorsements by current and past PTA presidents in the April City Council race:
The PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization. As an organization, PTA never supports or opposes candidates for public office, including city council and school board.
