Injured Motorcyclist's Friends Rally Support Through GoFundMe

Levi Saks was hospitalized following a three-car crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, according to his supporters.

Friends of Levi Saks, the motorcyclist injured in a three-car crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Nov. 5, have started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the cost of Saks' expenses.

Updates on the GoFundMe page from someone named "Friends of Levi" note Saks is in a hospital. "He has a long road ahead of him," one post reads.

The campaign has raised $2,470 so far toward the $10,000 goal it hopes to reach.

At the time of the accident on PCH at Busch Drive, Saks was listed in critical but stable condition, according to Sgt. Brad Johnson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff's Station.

Johnson said Saks was wearing a helmet and was thrown from his motorcycle. Saks' dog, Harley, was riding on the bike and survived.

Anna Caldwell of Malibu was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence and felony child endangerment, Johnson said. A child was in the car, he said.

In calling for donations for Saks, Friends of Levi wrote, "Levi has many friends who care deeply for him. However, he does not have any immediate family. This is in our hands. Levi is a well deserving man."
