Jennifer Conrad to Attend Malibu Screening of 'The Paw Project'

Filmmaker and Paw Project founder Dr. Jennifer Conrad has fought to protect felines from declawing, which is the amputation of the last bone in a cat's toes.

Impassioned animal welfare advocate Dr. Jennifer Conrad will attend a special screening of the film "The Paw Project" next month in Malibu.

The screening is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, June 8 in the Malibu Screening Room,  24855 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The film follows Conrad's work and the ensuing grassroots movement to protect felines from declawing, which is the amputation of the last bone in a cat's toes.

"The Paw Project documentary chronicles the happy and unexpected twist of fate that led to the protection of many animals through the grassroots advocacy efforts led by Dr. Conrad and The Paw Project," according to the Paw Project website.

The screening is free and open to the public. RSVP at info@pawproject.org. Learn more about the Paw Project at http://www.pawproject.org/.
