Malibu Offers Community Emergency Response Team Program

CERT is a seven-week program for everyone that provides basic training in safety and lifesaving skills.

The City of Malibu offers the next series of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program weekly courses, which start on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Malibu City Hall. The program is seven weeks long.

CERT classes contain the following modules:
Disaster Preparedness
Fire Suppression
Medical Class #1
Medical Class #2
Light Search and Rescue
Terrorism
Team Organization and Disaster Psychology
Course Review and Disaster Simulation Drill
