Rip Currents, Dangerous Swim Conditions in Forecast for Malibu

A south swell and high tides are expected to bring strong rip currents to parts of Malibu this week.

The south swell is set to peak Friday, with waves between three to four feet and as high as five feet, according to the National Weather Service.

A high tide of around seven feet is expected Saturday and Sunday evenings, with the possibility of beach erosion, forecasters warned.
