A beach clean up will be held at Zuma Beach in Malibu Saturday as part of the National Day of Service.
Volunteers will meet up at the Life Guard Headquarters across from Morning View Drive at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, according to organizers.
Gloves and garbage bags will be available on site, but volunteers can bring their own.
The event is being organized by World Team Now, a multi-media project that aims to discover ways to unite people to live in balance with natural resources.
Saturday, Jan. 19 is National Service Day across the country, and thousands are expected to do good deeds for others.
