Art Class Returns to Malibu Senior Center

Participants will enjoy the traditional art of hand-coloring photographs. This technique, which began in the early 1900s before color film was invented, is a true art form, according to the City of Malibu.

Malibu seniors can now enjoy the Art of Hand Coloring at the Malibu Senior Center.

The class is scheduled for Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., according to Theresa Odello, Recreation Coordinator for the City of Malibu.

According to Odello, participants will take part in the traditional art of hand-coloring photographs, which is a technique that began in teh early 1900s before color film was invented.

Instructor Jennifer Meltzer will show techniques on hand-coloring black and white, colored and digital photos.
