The following is an edited press release from the city of Malibu:
To celebrate the season, the city of Malibu hosts a free holiday concert with the Emeritus College Concert Band, a 60-piece concert band comprised of well-accomplished musicians ages 18 to 80.
Co-sponsored by Santa Monica College, the concert features performances by local musicians from the Malibu String Academy, directed by Dr. Maia Zander, and the Zuma Ensemble, directed by John Kibler. Santa Monica High School Music Director Mike Corrigan conducts the Emeritus College Concert Band.
