Juan Cabrillo Elementary MPR
The Nick Tidy Foundation was started by his wife Terah after Nick’s untimely passing. As was Nick’s vision, The Nick Tidy Foundation has funded the percussion classes offered at Juan Cabrillo Elementary for the 4th and 5th grade. The percussion classes have been headed by Eddie Marz for over 10 years. Eddie also provides a percussion program for the special needs students of room 1 at Juan Cabrillo Elementary in his free time. We are at risk of losing these very special programs. A fundraising concert for the foundation is being held Friday, May 4 at 6:30p.m. in the Juan Cabrillo Multipurpose Room. The concert features the current 4th and 5th grade percussion students of Juan Cabrillo as well as the Malibu Sharks Drumline and Percussion Ensemble, also begun and headed by Mr. Eddie Marz. Admission is by donation and is open to the public.
