Malibu, CA – November xx, 2011 – The Malibu Chamber of Commerce (www.malibu.org) is sponsoring its first ever “Ladies Day Out,” Thursday, December 8th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Malibu West Beach Club, bringing together an extraordinary group of women in business to connect, relax, shop, be catered to and enjoy a lovely high tea.  Guest speakers, including Mayor Laura Rosenthal, Assistant Professor of Marketing-Andrea Scott, and others will offer advice and motivation to attendees.  Highlights include a holiday boutique.   Catering is provided by Malibu’s best Montrose Catering.

“We are excited to kick off our very first High Tea just for women,” said Rebekah Evans, Chamber President & CEO.  “This is a chance for ladies to wind down before the busy holidays,  giving them an opportunity to treat themselves for a change.  They can shop, be pampered and hear motivating talks by women who have accomplished much both professionally and personally.”

Hosted by the Malibu Chamber “Women in Business Committee,” the High Tea will also feature a sumptuous spread of tea delights including sandwiches and pastries.  Tickets are $50 for Chamber members (table of eight $385), $65 for non-members (table of eight $500). Space is limited.  Sponsorships are available.  For information or to register, visit www.malibu.org and click on “products” or call the Chamber at 310-456-9025.  Deadline to register is November 21st.
