Malibu Library Task Force

The Library Renewal Project in Malibu represents a magical moment in time where we can witness a metamorphosis for our library, our community and perhaps the way we look at libraries. The new Malibu library will be opened on Earth Day, April 22, 2012. It will also coincide with the farmers market (which is located in the library parking lot), a Book Festival, a Beach Clean-Up at Surfrider Beach and Legacy Park and an Eco Festival – so you can feed your mind, body and soul! The LEED-certified design will green our library by making it more sustainable, expand our library by adding a green garden and be paid primarily from the green we taxpayers already paid into the library system throughout the years.

Please participate.  We would be honored to have your help in planning the Earth Day Event and Library Opening.

A limited number of banners are still available for $250/family or $500/business.
