Diesel, A Bookstore in Malibu welcomes legendary actor and activist Martin Sheen to the store to read from and sign his new book, Along the Way, on Saturday, June 16th at 3pm. NOTE: Mr. Sheen will only be signing copies of Along the Way, and will not be signing any other books or memorabilia.

In this remarkable dual memoir, film legend Martin Sheen and his accomplished actor/director son Emilio Estevez share the stories of their lives while charting a spiritual journey through the Spain of their ancestors. In alternating chapters - and in voices that are as eloquent as they are different - they tell stories spanning more than fifty years of family history and reflect on their journeys into two different kinds of faith. Martin Sheen is best known for his unforgettable performances in dozens of films, including Badlands, Apocalypse Now, Wall Street, and The Departed, as well as his performance as President Josiah Bartlet on television's The West Wing. A longtime activist for social justice and human rights, he resides in Malibu with Janet, his wife of fifty years.
