Crash Delays PCH In Malibu

A two-vehicle crash briefly shut down Pacific Coast Highway Tuesday in Malibu.

The crash involving a gold van and another mini van was reported just after 1 p.m. Tuesday on PCH at Carbon Canyon Road, according to Malibu's Office of Emergency Services.

PCH was shut down in both directions for about 20 minutes, and the southbound No. 1 lane was open by 2 p.m., Malibu Patrol reported.

The driver of one of the vans was taken to a hospital.

A small dog in one of the vehicles was able to escape, and was last seen running north on PCH.
