Erewhon Natural Market Opts For Calabasas Over Malibu
The upscale natural foods market has plans to open at The Summit in Calabasas, but a date has not yet been announced.
Erewhon Natural Foods backed out of going into the Trancas Market Center in Malibu earlier this month, but announced this week they plan to open a new store in nearby Calabasas.
The upscale natural foods market has plans to open at The Summit in Calabasas, but a date has not yet been announced, according to the Cypress Retail Group which leases space at The Summit.
Erewhon will replace Maddy's Market in Calabasas, which closed earlier this year.
Erewhon will be leasing the entire 16,250 square foot space and will specialize in bringing local and organic produce to its customers.
The store will also have an organic tonic & juice bar.
Erewhon had been scheduled to open at the Trancas Market Center six months ago, but construction delays at the shopping center soured the deal. A new tenant in Malibu has not yet been announced.
