The Malibu Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced its new executive director Tuesday.
Mark Persson began working at the Malibu Chamber of Commerce in August 2011 and served as Interim Executive Director from February 2012 to March 2013.
“We are very fortunate to have Mark Persson working on behalf of our members," Chamber Chairwoman Beth Pearcey Neal said. "He brings numerous skills with him that are suited to the position, including experience in several fields of work and has superior professionalism. In addition, Mark is able to connect with members and the community on a personal level. He is never short on innovative ways to assist members with their needs.”
Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management from Bradley University and minored in Math.
Through his professional career, has worked in Insurance, Gaming, Hospitality, and Sales & Marketing industries.
