Power Outage Set for Friday at PCH and Malibu Canyon

Lane closures are scheduled in the left hand turn lane on Malibu Canyon during the project's work hours and some traffic delays are expected.

A Southern California Edison project on a utility vault on Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu Canyon Road in Malibu will require a power outage Friday.

The work is part of a larger project which began Sept. 24 and will continue through Oct. 12, according to Arthur Aladjadjian, Malibu's public works superintendent.

"Periodic lane closures along PCH and in the No. 1 left hand turn pocket on Malibu Canyon will be required during the project's work hours," Aladjadjian said.
