24th Annual Malibu Pie Festival

The 24th Annual Malibu Pie Festival is going to be celebrated on Saturday, October 12th, from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Courtyard of the Malibu United Methodist Church, 30128 Morning View Dr.  In pursuit of the blue ribbon, pie bakers enter their best fare in multiple categories judged by Malibu civic and business leaders, and celebrities.  Children enjoy themselves on the Nursery School playground filled with such fun activities as a drumming circle, Art Barn's spin art, games, gunny sack races, and face painting.

Throughout the day, guests of all ages savor homemade pie, enjoy lunch from one of the food trucks, and are entertained by the live music of The Melvin Eddy Blues Band, and Naomi Warne.  A local talent showcase hour, including singers and musicians The Sposato Brothers, rounds out the afternoon.

Terrific deals on gift baskets abound.  Children and youth (and a daring adult or two!) can compete in the hands-free pie eating contest!

Proceeds benefit Malibu United Methodist's children, youth and family programs and community service projects.  General Admission is free.
