The Catholics in Media Awards is the premiere event sponsored by Catholics working in Film and Television. Created in 1993 by entertainment professionals to recognize and honor colleagues whose talents uplift the human condition.
Event features a mass on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean, presided by Fr. Greg Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries. Followed by a brunch buffet and awards show. Portion of event proceeds go to Homeboy Industries.
