We've all heard that job seekers should volunteer, whether to hone new skills or fill in a resume gap. But how do you use volunteer experience effectively? And what's the best way to translate your volunteer work onto a resume?
Stacey Gordon (MBA '07), Executive Recruiter and Managing Principal at The Gordon Group, will share how-to's and helpful hints for using your volunteer experience to land a job. The alumna of the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management will present at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
