Malibu writer Louis Spirito will read from his book, GIMME SHELTER, and sign copies. Gimme Shelter is The Sopranos meets Marley & Me as as a volatile, chronically ticked-off writer struggles to help an abused, timid, big-hearted shelter dog. 10% of the proceeds from the book will go to animal rescue organizations.
There will also be a Q & A, refreshments and a presentation by Malibu Pet Companions, a local non-profit that provides pro bono veterinary care for the L.A. County, Agoura Hills Animal Shelter.
