Fundraiser For Wounded Veterans' Families at Bank of Books Malibu

In this season of thanksgiving, Bank of Books Malibu will
give thanks to our country’s veterans by donating a percentage of its sales on
Monday, November 25 to the Fisher House Foundation. 

The Fisher House Foundation is best known for the network of

comfort homes it builds and maintains on the grounds of VA hospitals and

military facilities nationwide, where families can stay with sick and injured

combat veterans while they are hospitalized. Since its inception in 1990, the Foundation
has provided aid to more than 180,000 military families, saving them over two
hundred million dollars in lodging and transportation costs. Most recently, the
Fisher House Foundation was in the news when it gave cash donations to the

families of fallen servicemen and -women who were affected by the government

shutdown.

Bank of Books Malibu will donate 30% of all sales on Monday,

November 25 between the hours of 3 PM and 7 PM to the Fisher House Foundation.
The store will also accept cash donations from the public for this worthy
organization during those hours.
