“It is an honor to host the Rock Against Trafficking benefit event and support what I consider to be a brilliant approach to fighting the very real crisis of child labor and sex trafficking. Thank you to Barcelona Enterprises for making this event possible,” said Christiana D’Amore, entrepreneur, co-owner of D'Amore's Pizza and founder of the Malibeauties. This year, the net proceeds of the Malibu Beer Festival and the Calabasas and Malibu Wine & Food Festival will go to Rock Against Trafficking.

Rock Against Trafficking (RAT) was founded by Gary Miller, Peter White, and Miller’s music partner, Rimma Drosdov. The RAT team is currently producing the project, "Set Them Free," with legendary artists performing covers of the music of Sting and the Police. The first artists/bands to record songs for the album are all Grammy Award or Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famers winners or nominees, including: Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Slash (Guns & Roses), Julian Lennon, Journey, and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple). Others who have committed to the project include, Heart, En Vogue, and Joss Stone, with numerous other artists or their reps expressing interest, such as, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. All proceeds from the sale of “Set Them Free” will fund the acclaimed work of International Justice Mission (IJM), who work directly rescuing and rehabilitating abused children trapped in sex or labor slavery worldwide, placing them into a safe and loving environment for restoration and prosecuting perpetrators to bring justice and prevent future victimization.
