Abstractions From Nature - PHILIP VAUGHANMalibu Lumber Yard Gallery ( MLY Gallery) at the Malibu Lumber Yard Center cordially invites you to a retrospective exhibition of works by British Artist & Designer Philip Vaughan.
Known for his revolutionary " Neon Light Tower" installation in 1972 atop of Hayward Gallery in the South Bank int he City of London,UK; Philip Vaughan has continued the road to abstraction and designing for the theme park industry in Hollywood. His light installations in the US. The exhibition and sale of the collectable works of art showcases over thirty paintings and drawings with aquatint, acrylics and charcoal on paper or canvas, Abstractions of Nature series depicts a selection of curated works, from decades of abstract works inspired by forms in Nature. IN addition a few Neon Light Sculpture installations with changing hues will showcase the diversity of the artists works. The Free and public exhibit will continue from March 8th- thru April 10th 2014.
The gallery is open Tuesday - Friday 11- 4 pm and Sat/ Sunday 12- 6 pm
