Community Corner

Rejuvenation & Forgiveness Workshop

The Listening Post, a community outreach project open to all, continues its Speaker Series with Dr. John Talevich, D.C., who will explore the physical, mental-emotional and spiritual aspects of healing.  Dr. Talevich brings more than thirty-five years of experience in the healing arts and sciences.

This workshop is the first in a year-long series based on the five elements found in Chinese medicine, which follows a seasonal model.  The Spring Cycle corresponds to the wood element, and involves the timeless themes of rejuvenation and forgiveness.  There will be a series of short film clips depicting the power and importance of forgiveness, followed by a demonstration of how we may use theses themes to develop compassion, wisdom, and healing for others and ourselves.

Malibu United Methodist Church's Prayer and Healing Gathering hosts the evening on Tuesday, May13th, 7:00 p.m., at 30128 Morning View Drive.  The workshop is free of charge.
