SISU 24 - 24 Hour race/endurance event

OVERVIEW:
Team SISU is proud to bring you this one-of-a-kind event. We will be running the trails and beaches of Malibu for 24-hours. There will be camping and fun. There will also be a race, for those of you who are competitive. Individuals and teams of 3 can compete. Run as much or as little of the course in one day as you want. There will also be special SISU challenges to test your limits.

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS CAPPED TO 50 PEOPLE

DETAILS:
The run will begin at 9am on Nov 9. You are welcome to come before (start 2pm, Nov 8) to setup and camp out. The event will end at 9am on Nov 10. We have the campsites until Nov 10 at 12pm, so you will have time to rest and clean up after the race.

This event will take place a beautiful Leo Carillo State Beach in Malibu, CA. Here is the website: http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=616. There is walking access to trails, the beach, and tidepools. There is a camp store and even WiFi in some areas. The campground has full bathrooms and pay showers with hot water.

Participants can register as individuals. Individuals will run the course (approx. 10-mi loop) as many times as they want during the 24-hours. There will also be special challenges they must complete. Top three finishers will get special awards.

Teams of three may run this as a relay. Team members register separately, and must indicate their teammates and team name when registering. Only one runner is allowed on the course at-a-time. Top three teams will receive awards.

Use the Facebook invite to RSVP (must be a member of the Team SISU group page to see it). Registration is not complete, however, until you pay for the event using the website. Don't wait! Costs go up, as we get closer to the event.
