Community Corner

Woofstock Malibu

Malibu Coast Animal Hospital, will celebrate the re-launch of
their hospital with the first ever Woofstock Malibu to benefit Healthcare
for Homeless Animals
(formerly Malibu Pet Companions) on April 27, 2014 at Legacy Park in Malibu.  Emmy winning actor/comedian Brad Garrett and actor/director Joe Reitman will emcee the event
which will feature a dog-walk fundraiser, live music, a silent auction, food
and an exclusive “backstage tour” of the newly remodeled hospital.  “We want to share our excitement about the renovation of our hospital
with the community.  And what better way than to bring everyone and their pets together with music in support of this
incredible charitable organization.
” (Dr. Dana DePerno, owner of MCAH).  Little Caesar, Petty Cash and Malibu’s own The Roman Helmets will
also perform live in the park.

Guests can bring their leashed dogs to the event for special canine games and demonstrations including the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, Dina Garvis, trainer and Bo the rattlesnake wrangler.
