Carmageddon Turns L.A. Streets to Ghost Town

Fireball Tim sneaks onto the 405 and becomes the only car...

So, after a birthday party last night at Kay and Dave's in Culver City, we decided to head back to Malibu at around 8:30 p.m.

Now, the drive from the Bu to the restaurant was like a ghost town as I suspected. Took us 15 minutes flat on a Saturday night. But the drive home was as creepy as a ghost town... as we decided to head up to Wilshire and get on the 405 South, ... if we could.

And, we did exactly that. We got on at Wilshire going South and merged onto the 10. And in that stretch of about 3 miles, we saw not one car. I mean, zip. It was 8:30 p.m., granted... but never, not even at 3 a.m. on the 405 would you see this. We even stopped for a minute on the shoulder to enjoy the peace.
