So, I finally got around to having dinner at the new NOBU on the beach. Now, being one who seriously misses The Pier View, I had my doubts as to whether I'd like it or not. But...
Yum. Expecting a hundred dollar meal and it not being that good was immediately changed the moment I hit Nobu at 5:30. First ones in the door, we sat for a brief sec and went right to our table. The servers were kind, attentive and fun and I feel like we had five.
The design of the place was soft and warm like most Nobu, but being by the beach added that extra dreamscape that made Kathie's and my dining experience fun, inventive and playful.

Being vegetarians, we had some great veggie rolls that were the first of several dishes all the way to dessert. One better than the next. By the time we wrapped things up, the place was a zoo of diners. So, advice? Get there when it opens so you can not only get a perfect seat... but you can watch the sun go down.
A great experience. Thanks, Nobu!
