Malibu Adoptions Can Save These Lives

Consider giving these two pooches a forever home.

By Andrea Braver & J. Flora Katz

Cliff
CLIFFF IS IN GRAVE DANGER OF LOSING HIS LIFE! Will he make it out of the shelter? He's questioning -- and he's getting worried. But, when you meet Cliff, you'll see a cheerier side of this truly wonderful boy that can't be forgotten, can't be ignored -- and can't be suppressed.

Even after what he's been through, Cliff can smile and light up the play yard. Just watch the video of this exceptionally sweet fellow who wants little more than to by close to his people.

Well, that's not actually true -- he loves his treats as well!! And, when he gets going at high speed, he's tons of fun  --  in a small and soon-to-be-once-again fluffy package. (He was shaved down when he came into the shelter.)

Cliff has a very occasional, slight limp -- the result of an old fracture to his femoral head. But, that never stops him. I spotted him playing with one of his pals in the small room in which he's hanging out these days while the Animal Care Tech was cleaning their cages. Hilarious. Running from one end to the other, chasing and having the best time. But, an even better time for Cliff would be to do that in your home.

This adorable, super sweet, gentle boy has such a great outlook on life.   What Cliff now needs is someone to adopt him so he can get off that cliff and stop worrying about his future. Cliff's Adoption ID No. is A1416535.

Princess
PLEASE HELP HER!! Once someone's little princess, she's now the shelter's Princess. Royalty no longer. Another dog in an over-crowded system, left by her owner to an unknown fate. What a shame.

It's impossible to look at this face and not be moved -- to smile or maybe to shed tears. What a precious soul, lying in her cage, curled up on a blanket. Her little tongue hanging out to varying lengths. You see Princess has only two teeth remaining and, in fact, those two should be pulled out as well.  She's not complaining.

She's always thought that soft food was the way to go. And speaking of soft, Princess' coat is just that. Luxuriously plush, surprisingly so. Princess is 13 years old and weighs just a little over 4 pounds. You can hold her in the palm of your hand, take her anywhere with ease.

A good little girl who never ever frets or whines.  Surely there must be someone who will give this girl a new throne.  We can't see her die in the shelter. Princess' ID Adoption No. is A1417871.
