Home Remedy for Digestive Woes


A great home remedy for digestive problems is apple cider vinegar.  When you drink it before a meal it stimulates stomach acid and pancreatic enzyme secretion, which are two essential ingredients for the proper digestion of food.

I usually suggest 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a touch of warm water, just enough water to make the sourness of the apple cider vinegar palatable for your taste, about 15 minutes before a meal.

Symptoms that this easy home remedy can alleviate include heartburn, bloating, gas, burping, heaviness and fatigue after meals.  Caution – do not use if you have stomach ulcers.  Sometimes my patients need further natural medicine intervention for their digestive issues, but I am always pleased when this one quick trick solves their digestive woes all by itself.
