Egypt’s Morsi Under House Arrest:  CNN is reporting that ousted Egyptian leader Mohammed Morsi is being held under house arrest.  Which begs the question, can someone legally be held under house arrest if their house is still in escrow?

Pepsi Contains Too Much of a Carcinogen:  An environmental group claims that the caramel coloring used in Pepsi still contains a worrisome level of a carcinogen, even after the drink maker said it would change its formula.  Which kind of begs the question, exactly what is the proper amount of a carcinogen that should be put into a beverage?

Umpire Reportedly Fired for Drugs by MLB:  In what's believed to be the first dismissal of its kind, Major League Baseball reportedly has fired umpire Brian Runge, a 14-year veteran and 3rd generation umpire, for a drug violation.  MLB didn’t say exactly what drugs the umpire was using, but judging from some of the calls I’ve seen this season, I’d have to assume it was hallucinogens.
