Are you ready for some rewarding work that brightens up someone else's day? Tomorrow the community gathers to send some Malibu love and appreciation to forward deployed men and women through our local troop support organization, Operation Interdependence. As we set up the Pt. Dume MHP clubhouse today, we were joined by a VIP of the highest level - Nathan Ball! Nathan received packages from Malibu groups including OI and came to assist as a way of thanking the Malibu community for the support that he greatly appreciated while he was on two deployments. It was the first time that we had a previous recipient turn into a worker bee! THANK YOU Nathan, not only for your service but for the warm words and the great big hugs you gave us.
I've posted a few photos to show the staging of the operation that will be abuzz tomorrow, consider stopping by and being a part of a wonderful program that reaches overseas to remind our military forces that we are thankful for their efforts. We need letter writers all the time, if you can't make it tomorrow but have a few words that express your respect, admiration and appreciation for our fighting forces we would love to have you contact us for future letter writing campaigns.
Tomorrow, 9am-1pm Open House at Pt. Dume Mobile Home Park Clubhouse. The guard at the entrance is ready to raise the gate so we can raise the house with letters to the ceiling!
