Blog: Donations Needed for Toys for Tots at First Bank in Malibu

Malibu Navy League and First Bank will be hosting light refreshments and pot luck dishes at First Bank in the Malibu Colony Shopping Center this week.

Please join us in making the holidays brighter for children who benefit from the United States Marine Corps continued support of Toys For Tots. There is a collection bin located at First Bank in the Malibu Colony Shopping Center through close of business this Thursday, Dec. 6.

The community is invited to join us from 5:30 to 7 p.m. as the Malibu Navy League and First Bank will be hosting light refreshments and pot luck dishes (bring something if you can!) as we enjoy a program of heartfelt good cheer and holiday wishes for all.

Your contribution of a new, unwrapped toy could be just the thing to light up a child's face this Christmas. Help Santa brighten every home with a little elfish effort, dig into your own memories of what was under your own trees or teach your children how to impact another child's life. If you don't have time to pick up a gift, monetary donations are always appreciated.

Thank You to First Bank and their valued employees for the collection location and their continued support of this program. We are grateful for the talented students of Our Lady of Malibu who will be performing Christmas Carols under the guidance of Beverly Craveiro for our enjoyment.

Be on hand as we express our gratitude to the Marines who will collect the toys, they represent so many efforts on every base in all corners of the world working hard to ensure that we have the safety and security to celebrate our beliefs in a free nation.
