MENDING KIDS INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS WITH CEDARS-SINAI MEDICAL CENTER FOR FREE OUTPATIENT SURGERY. CHILD REFERRALS NEEDED.

Burbank, CA – Burbank-based Mending Kids International (MKI) will be offering free surgeries to Southland children and teens as part of their vision to provide life-changing surgeries to children worldwide. For the first time in their history, MKI is excited to focus this vision on Los Angeles with their first ever Hometown Mission on Saturday, July 20th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

MKI sends medical mission teams of volunteers and doctors around the globe to perform various surgeries on children whose families do not have adequate means or access to medical centers.  Through various partnerships, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, MKI has been able to operate in over 48 countries, providing over 1,000 surgeries since its founding in 2006.

MKI is seeking referrals for children between the ages of 4 and 16, whose families have inadequate financial or insurance coverage. Consideration will be provided for the following outpatient surgeries: orthopedic, plastic and reconstructive surgery, the removal of “lumps and bumps”, general minor surgeries and urology.
