Last week, the Realtor family suddenly lost the lovely Lyssa Marie Byrd in . Lyssa lived in Simi Valley and worked at Malibu Escrow Corp. in Malibu. She was 48.

Lyssa was a joyful, hard-working single mother who leaves behind three children. The youngest is 12 years old. Lyssa graced us all with her smile, laughter and enthusiasm at every occasion. She was a joy to know.

"All of us here at Malibu Escrow are devastated by the loss last week of Lyssa Byrd," her friends and colleagues at Malibu Escrow wrote. "Lyssa's knowledge and understanding of the escrow process made her an integral part of our office. Her beautiful, smiling face and bubbling personality will sadly be missed."
