Conan's Cousins episode #5

MONDAY 6-2-14

Happy Monday morning.  I hope you all had an excellent weekend.

I spent mine fully engaged in an unsuccessful "money hunt".  Which caused me to change my strategy.  Now instead of hunting for just enough to carry me through the next episode ($500), I am going to begin looking for enough to carry me through at least 4 episodes ($2,000).

And the thinking which led to this "modification of methods" went like this: it takes the same amount of time and energy to ask potential investor's for $2,000 as it does to ask them for $500 . . . and the benefit of getting enough funding to shoot and edit 4 episodes is that I only have to do it once a month.  (Saving lots of time which I can then spend on refining the actual production.)

But, the metaphorical "elephant" in that idea is: If I'm having difficulty getting $500 . . . doesn't that difficulty quadruple when I ask for $2,000?

And of course the answer is . . . "Like duh!"

However, that conclusion is so obvious, and so logical . . . that my brain rejects it without further analysis.

Anyway, the Conan project is now officially on its way to becoming a "finished" movie . . . upon the acquisition of $8,000 in total funding and the completion of approximately 15 more episodes!!!

(Hence it is doubtful that I will acquire the first of the $2,000 installments in time to post an episode #6 next Monday.  But not worry . . . I'm working on it.)

Take care, be nice, and don't let the bed-bugs bite.
