Carlotta
Carlotta looks like she is in full stage make-up for the opera. She's got her mascara in place plus two tones of shadow around those gorgeous coal-black eyes. Those strikingly-pointy ears are done upright so she can hear every note. Carlotta isn't a singer herself and she usually won't take the stage.
She is a girl who prefers to wait in the wings, watching the performance. Shy by nature, she doesn't feel like the star of the show. But, this lovely little 2-year old, 10 pound, damsel could very well be your leading lady. As pretty as she is, she's also got a truly endearing personality. Carlotta is innocent and trusting. What better combination?
Get dressed in your opera cape and come meet this tiny soprano today. Carlotta's adoption number is A1339467.
Buddy
Buddy wants to be your pal. And what a good friend he will be. This little fellow came from a home where he was loved, it's clear. He's well-adjusted, adores everyone he meets and greets them with an ever-present smile. Buddy also has fun with his kennel mates.
In fact, he's happy in any situation, any time, any day. But, we've talked and I've advised him that the shelter is not the best place for an 8 year old terrier, no matter how joyful. He countered, saying that is small enough at about 8 pounds to avoid the pitfalls of life there but I told him that's not the case.
Being cute and friendly doesn't mean he won't be euthanized. Buddy may be a senior in age but not in activity and certainly not at heart. He does need to see a dentist to clean those teeth. And desperately needs to meet up with a bathtub and some shampoo. But, once clean inside and out, Buddy will truly be your pal for some time to come.
Buddy's adoption number is A1340768.
