Malibu Adoptions Can Save These Lives

Both of these terriers are charming and looking for a home.

Chucky

Here's our first terrier of the day. Way too cute for words, though I'll try. Chucky's got a face that is quite unique. Adorable, undeniably so, but with an underbite that adds additional charm. There's no way to look at him without breaking into a grin.

Chucky's coat is the opposite of Shreddie's. Very soft and fluffy. And he's half his size, a very easy-to-take-anywhere 12 pounds. At 2 1/2 years of age, Chucky retains the playfulness of a puppy but has the wisdom and manners that are much appreciated by any pet owner.

At this time, Chucky has a "hot spot" on his side, a skin condition so common with white dogs. But, he's been treated with medication while at the shelter and his boo-boo has nearly healed. He is a definite staff favorite and finds followers wherever he goes in the shelter. His sweet nature is irresistible.

Come meet him and see if you don't leave with Chucky under your arm. His Adoption ID number is A1355214.

Shreddie

Adorable Shreddie bears a definite resemblance to the breakfast biscuit for which he was named. Several shades of brown mixed in with a hint of black, covered over with a sprinkling of white. And all wrapped up in a bristly, scruffy coat.

This handsome boy comes with a guarantee to get you off to a healthy start each and every morning. No sugar needed. He's sweet enough as is. Shreddie is a funny guy, one of those who want so much to be friends yet unsure of just how to approach the process. He'll come running up to the front of his cage, size you up with his intensely deep brown eyes, then, if deemed worthy, give you a quick kiss and run back to the safety of his kennel.

Once out of the cage bars, he's exceptionally playful and utterly charming. Shreddie is just a year old and weighs 23 pounds, though he seems much larger because of his fuzzy fur. Perhaps a Wheaten mix would be the best guess. Shreddie has been kenneled with a number of other dogs and accepted their companionship while waiting for a home.

Please consider adding him to your morning. And your mid-day and evening as well. Shreddie's Adoption ID number is A1355123.
