The DeVito Saga #38

So, I took a walk in the forest yesterday to figure out my next move in the DeVito saga and decided that . . .  

. . . before we raft up to Danny's place, and before we parachute in, and before attempting any of the other possibilities, I will first try the least expensive option. 

I am going to fill up my truck's gas tank, drive to L. A., and on Tuesday the 29th, which is the start of the final week of Danny's performances in THE SUNSHINE BOYS at the Ahmanson Theatre . . . I am going mingle with the group of autograph seekers gathered at the backstage door waiting for him to leave the theatre . . . and then . . . I will make my next attempt to get the script into his hands.

However, before I put this plan into motion I have three more "winterization projects" to finish in preparation for the Sierra's first major snow storm . . . so I need to get busy.

But if I don't get the those projects finished by the 29th I "could" push the Malibu trip back until Danny's closing night on Sunday Nov. 3rd . . . but then his accessibility could be more of a problem. 

(Damn . . . I didn't expect that "saving the world" was going to be quite so difficult.)
