2 Acre Brush Fire Near Mulholland Highway Put Out

The fire was caused when a vehicle overturned.

A brush fire that broke out near Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road Wednesday afternoon due to an overturned vehicle has been knocked down, according to fire officials. 

The two-acre brusher erupted at about 4:40 p.m., said Art Marrugo of the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. Approximately 115 firefighters were on the scene.

The person inside the crashed vehicle was able to get out safely and no injuries were reported, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Traffic through the area is still reportedly heavy.
