The remains of two men and two women were recovered today from the wreckage of a private jet that crashed and burned at Santa Monica Airport Sunday, authorities said.

No further details were forthcoming, however the Santa Monica-based company Morley Builders issued a statement Monday saying they believed its CEO Mark Benjamin and his son, Luke, were aboard the plane. The Benjamins are from Malibu.

The National Transportation Safety Board worked through the night with cranes to remove the hangar from the trapped plane.
