Air Conditioning Units Stolen From Malibu Parking Garage

The units are worth $15,000 and were taken from a rooftop of a three-story parking garage on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Three air conditioning units worth $15,000 were taken from a Malibu parking garage earlier this month.

The theft was reported at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 from a three-story parking garage in the 22600 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station.

A responding deputy noted three spaces with clipped copper wiring on the roof of the parking structure.

There are no surveillance cameras that cover the area and the theft remains under investigation.
