UPDATE: Amber Alert Issued in Los Angeles County for 4 Children
Officials say the children may be in a dark-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser

An amber alert has been issued today for four children taken from the Boyle Heights area in the Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol website, Justin Felix, 5, Enrique Felix, 7, Veronica Felix, 1, and 1-year-old Janeth Felix were abducted on March 14 at about 12:30 p.m.
CHP officials say the children were taken by Rose Chairez, 28, and 28-year-old Enrique Felix. Chairez and Felix may be driving a gray or purple Chrysler PT Cruiser with paper license plates and a missing hub cap.
KABC-TV in Los Angeles reported that the children were taken by their biological parents while they were in the care of their grandmother, under protective custody.
Social workers had placed the children in protective custody because their father was physically violent toward them and their mother, Los Angeles Police Department Capt. Martin Baeza said at the Hollenbeck Station, where photos of the suspects and victims were circulated.
The suspects were reportedly seen in the 1400 block of Indiana Street, according to KABC-TV.
