Both Escapees from Malibu Juvenile Probation Camp Caught

The pair, whose names were withheld, escaped from Camp Fred Miller at 12:05 p.m. Monday.

Both teens who escaped from a juvenile probation camp in Malibu were re-captured, authorities said today.

The pair, whose names were withheld, escaped from Camp Fred Miller at 12:05 p.m. Monday, said Lt. Michael Williams of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

The first was captured about mid-afternoon. Sheriff's deputies used helicopters and dogs to search for the second escapee, but the search was suspended at 6:15 p.m., Williams said.

He was apprehended around 9 p.m. Monday, Williams said.

Williams did not say where either escapee was re-captured.
